License in the app

Activation

Settings → License tab:

  1. Paste a key like FDA-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX (from your account on the website).
  2. Press «Save & check».
  3. On success you'll see a «Valid» status with the plan and account email.

The key is encrypted (safeStorage/DPAPI) and stored on your computer only.

Device binding

  • When the key is verified, the app registers a device ID.
  • Up to 3 devices per license (configurable in the site admin).
  • Unlink a device anytime from your website account.

Offline mode

The last successful check is valid for 72 hours. If the license server is unreachable, the app keeps working from cache; after the grace period an online check is required.

If your license fails

  • Key not found — check the input (FDA-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX format), create a key in your account.
  • Subscription expired — renew on the website.
  • Device limit — unlink an extra device in your account.
  • License revoked — create a new key (the old one stops working).
